  Carla Bruni

The normally ruthless British press only had good things to say about France’s new First Lady and former model Carla Bruni when she accompanied her husband, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, on a 2 day official state visit. The local media absolutely gushed with comparisons to Jacqueline Kennedy, Grace Kelly and Princess Dianna
Dressed exclusively in Dior, many are referring to her trip as a style summit. British Prime Minister Gorden Brown’s wife Sarah even went as far as to call her French counterpart her new best friend. Bruni shared laughs and giggles with Prince Philip the Duke of York. The Times of London Fashion editor Hilary Alexander described a speech Bruni delivered to the White Ribbon Alliance, a charity devoted to reducing the number of women in the Third World who die during pregnancy or childbirth, as mesmerizing. At 5’10 she was a statuesque presence. Bruni is 4 inches taller than her 5.6 husband. The Prez wore height enhancing heels while the former model had on the flattest flats available in an effort to diplomatically bridge the height gap.

<<Carla Bruni is sure to entertain even the toughest of crowds.

  Miuccia Prada

According to PageSix, Prada recently laid down the law to its store and office employees concerning work environment standards which could result in job termination if not followed to the letter.

The instructions are believed to have come directly from Miuccia Prada and were e-mailed to staff, "Desk and work surfaces should be clean and uncluttered. Pictures, calendars, etc. should not be taped to cubicle office walls. Pets may not be brought to the corporate office or the store. For corporate employees, all coats should be hung in the appropriate coatroom and not kept in offices or hung over cubicle walls. Window shades should be even (either completely up or completely down) throughout one side of the floor. Items may not be placed on the window sills ... In addition, it is important to take a break from your workday and enjoy your lunch. Therefore, absent extenuating circumstances, lunch may not be eaten at your desk."
