According the the Fashion Week Daily Lanvin Creative Director Alber Elbaz is about to introduce a denim line. He is in talks with Stockholm-based Acne Jeans.

His objective is to provide women with a greater choice, "What if you don't want to wear a skinny jean?", he was quoted as saying.

Karl Lagerfeld has come up with another quirky and underage muse as the face of Chanel. Lagerfeld has is said to be in talks with Frances Bean Cobain, the 15 year-old daughter of the late Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, to appear in an upcoming campaign for the luxury brand.

Described by some as beautiful with porcelain skin and striking blue eyes to others she comes across as just plain scary looking, a paradox the Über-designer no doubt fully delights in.
