Former model and fashion icon Ines de la Fressange will receive France’ s highest honour in recognition of her contribution to style and fashion. She will receive the Legion of Honour in a ceremony to take place on June 18th. The 51 year-old one time Chanel model, whose full name is Inès Marie Laetitia Églantine Isabelle de Seignard de la Fressange is also a celebrated muse of Karl Lagerfeld.

The New York Times described her style as a simple mix of T-shirts, tailored trousers and cropped jackets, worn with piles of accessories and a sense of humor. “Don't be afraid to make mistakes. If you have never put a foot wrong, you're probably too set in your ways...“ she was quoted as saying by the British press.

Following up on rumours that have been circulating for months Christian Dior has finally officially announced that it will be releasing its own cell phone.

The device will sell for $5,000 and comes with a second miniature phone barely bigger than a USB key. The casing will be decorated with Swarovski crystals. An alligator version will sell for upwards of $25,000.
