20 year-old supermodel Ruslana Korshunova is believed to have leaped to her death from her 9th floor Manhattan apartment.

The news shocked friends and family who described the Russian rapunzel, known for her flowing chestnut hair ad fairytale looks, as excited about her career and life in America. Discovered at 15 she appeared on the cover of Vogue and Elle and was featured in ads for Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Vera Wang and Christian Dior. Korshunova would have turned 21 on July 2nd.

A French court ordered eBay to pay LVMH Moët Hennessy $61.3 million in damages for allowing counterfeit goods to be sold on the auction site.

After a two-year legal process the Paris Tribunal de Commerce found eBay guilty of gross misconduct in failing to prevent the sale of fake products. eBay announced that it will appeal the decision. It said it has always removed listings if they were counterfeit and blames Louis Vuitton for its problems saying that it continues to use an outdated business model.
