In the days following the suicide death of 20 year-old Ruslana Korshunova, a tragic picture of a young woman who appears to have suffered from very typical young person’s angst and growing pains, has immerged.

The Russian supermodel posted a number of online comments about her loneliness and feelings of being lost. Her mother also said that although she had a number of lucrative modeling jobs money always seemed to be a problem especially with an expensive apartment she rented in New York. But sadly none of these issues appear unusual for young woman thrust into the spot light and many miles from home.

There was nothing that would seem to indicate that she was about to take her own life. Korshunova meticulously cut a hole in a construction mesh before falling to her death from her Manhattan apartment.   It can only make one wonder what would have happened if the phone would have rang with a friendly voice moments before she took her life.
