According to The Daily Mail 'The Bruni Effect' is sweeping British fashion. Much of British retail collections this season have been largely influenced by her sophisticated tastes.

When the new French Lady and former model Carla Bruni visited England earlier this year, outfitted almost exclusively in Dior, she blew the normally reserved British away with her sense of elegance and style.

That was all the media talked about for days other than the fact that she is several inches taller than her husband, French President Nicolas Sarkozy. ...“With her elegantly cut clothes and eye for colour, the French president's wife has proved a gift to the high street this autumn. Now you, too, can dress like a demure style queen”.
