It was a fashion show fit for a Prince at the 2009 Brazilian Carnival Ball, the key fund raiser for the world renowned Toronto Hospital for Sick Children.
The event featured 60 hot Carnival dancers flown in from Brazil decked out in dazzling feathered, beaded and sequined costumes. His Royal Highness The Duke of York, aka, Prince Andrew, who is a patron of the event was on hand as well as Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
The Brazilian Ball was founded in 1966 and remains Canada’s Premier fundraiser. 0ver 1,600 people came to donate and party. This year’s ball raised $2.6 million.
