As the world reels from the shock of the King of Pop’s untimely, but not altogether surprising death, the question on many people’s mind is what would have happened if he lived to perform his 50 sold-out concerts at London’s O2 Stadium.

Would his stage appearance once again spinoff into fashion trends as they did so many times over his long and extraordinary career? The time may have been right for a Michael Jackson fashion revival.

His signature looks of the 1980’s including the fedora hat, military jackets and head to toe glitter are definitely back and bigger than ever. The ‘Beat It’ singer was reported to have incorporated over 300,000 Swarovski crystals into his costumes and sets for the shows. We may be able to catch a glimpse of what may have been since a 3 hour rehearsal in Los Angeles was taped and may be released as a DVD and soundtrack.

Diplomatrix Anna Wintour?  According to the New York Post a diplomatic pouch would be Anna Wintour’s ultimate fashion accessory. It seems the Vogue editrix is still waiting for someone from the Obama Administration to ask her to become an ambassador or at least a diplomat of some sort.  

Wintour has been spending time with White House social secretary Desiree Rogers as her insider ticket in an attempt to raise her profile with the power elite in hopes of being considered for the foreign service which is said to be her life long dream.
