The people behind Lindsay Lohan's 6126 leggings line are hoping that the publicity generated by her jail stay will help sales. They are currently around $3 million a year.

Desperate for any good news they are putting faith in the adage that any publicity is good no matter how negative and twisted. Lohan is also launching a handbag collection.

Jeff Vansinderen, a senior retail analyst at B. Riley & Co., told Women’s Wear Daily... “Lindsay has mind share right now, so people will be interested to see what the merchandise looks like.”
