Rodarte's new cosmetic line launched in collaboration with M.A.C. Cosmetics quickly blew-up in controversy. The collection due to be released in September was inspired by the Mexican border town of Juarez.

It has the distinction of being the world's deadliest city infamous for drug related brutal murders and a high rape rate. The beauty line featured names such as 'Ghost Town' and 'Factory'. M.A.C. has since announced that they will change the make-up descriptions.
