According to the New York Post Donna Karan and Christie Brinkley showed up to the Heat Hamptons Benefit wearing the same dress. After the initial shock the two posed together for photographers but otherwise did not seem comfortable.

Later that evening Karan played around with her outfit adding a sleeve and tightening a drape. A spokesperson for Brinkley made the most of the situation and said that she wore the dress to honour Karan.
