Louis Vuitton confirmed recent rumours that it is planning to launch a fragrance in the future. The fashion house which was founded in 1854 as a maker of fine travel trunks produced three scents in the 1920's an 30's.

LV hired third generation perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud to supervise the project. The fragrance is expected to be some time in development.
