Nicole Kidman is said to be in serious talks for the role of Grace Kelly. 'Grace of Monaco' is set between December 1961 and November 1962 when as Princess of Monaco she was called upon to help stop a coup in the city state over its status as a French tax haven.

There is even Oscar buzz about the project. The film will be directed by Olivier Dahan, best known for 'La Vie en Rose'. There is fierce competition among Hollywood hopefuls for the plum part.
