According to the New York Post it is now war between Carine Roitfeld and her ex-bosses at Condé Nast. The former French Vogue editor recently announced plans to launch a bi-annual fashion magazine to be called CR in partnership with Fashion Media Group LLC.

Condé’s International chairman Jonathan Newhouse is said to have personally intervened to order photographers and editors not to work with his former employee. Talents such as Mario Testino, Craig McDean, David Sims, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott are under exclusive contract for titles that include Vogue, W, Glamour, Vanity Fair and Allure.
